What are Coins?

Coins are ABOUT YOU's internal, free points program. You automatically collect Coins with every order made through an active customer account (1 Coin per €1). These Coins are held for 30 days after your order is received. If you return part or all of your order, the collected Coins will be adjusted proportionally to your return. After 30 days, your Coins will become active and can be redeemed. Your Coins, if not redeemed, are valid for 6 months.

Where can I find my Coins overview?

You can find an overview of your current Coins (active, held, Bonus Coins, etc.) in your Coins Wallet. You'll find this behind the Coins' icon on the homepage.

What happens with my Coins if my order gets cancelled?

In case of a cancellation, your Coins balance will be adjusted accordingly. Redeemed Coins will be reassigned to your account and collected coins will be subtracted. This may take up to 24 hours.

What are Bonus Coins?

Bonus Coins can either be credited to your customer account by us on certain occasions or unlocked by you, based on your total annual spending at ABOUT YOU. All Bonus Coins are immediately active and can be redeemed by you. Bonus Coins are also valid for 6 months.

Question 5

How can I redeem my Coins and what else can I do with them?

Active Coins can be converted into a discount by you during the checkout process. Here, 1 Coin is worth 1 cent in discount. To apply the discount, you must activate it in your shopping cart. Active Coins cannot be partially applied or exceed the total order value.

The entire Coins discount is applied proportionally to the products in your shopping cart and cannot exceed the individual product value. Coin Discounts cannot be applied during active discount promotions or in combination with vouchers. If you return part or all of your order, the redeemed Coins will be adjusted proportionally to your return and credited back to your account, as long as they are still within their original validity period (6 months).

Coins cannot be transferred between customer accounts or ABOUT YOU country shops. Likewise, Coins cannot be paid out in cash.

How can I unsubscribe from the Coins program?

If you no longer wish to collect Coins in your customer account, you can contact our customer service at any time. We will then promptly deactivate the Coins program for your customer account.
